Wondering about ticket prices for the 34th America's Cup Race here in San Francisco? Take a look at the ticket prices for the America's Cup World Series race coming up in San Diego in November, one of a series of races intended to build up excitement for the main event in September 2013. There's a corporate hospitality tent and a VIP tent for individual attendees- as long as they're a couple. Both venues are touted to have excellent viewing, plus parking, booze, food, and a photo op with the America's Cup Trophy. Prices range from $850 for a couple on the final race day to $10,950 for a corporate table of ten for the week. Plus tax- although it's probably a nice write-off into the bargain. Charts of San Diego ticket prices after the jump. The San Diego route (above) like San Francisco, is an enclosed course unlike all previous Cup races on the open seas.

At this past weekend's America's Cup World Series race in Plymouth, England, VIP tickets were sold individually for £99, or about $160.00 in real money, and a relative bargain even with the exchange rate. Maybe they didn't have to do an EIR.
