Poolside Mid-Century Pleaser in Piedmont

New, 4 comments

162 Estates Drive is a rather gorgeous Mid-Century in Piedmont, that easterly SF neighbor, a contender this year as one of CNN Money’s “Best Places to Live.” Indeed, why not enjoy this top-rated town, its news-worthy love of good food, its real summer weather (no 24-hour fog banks!), and its non-lottery based school system from this 3-bed, 3.5-bath abode? Parents fleeing San Francisco for more family-friendly lifestyles will surely thrill to the sheer magnitude of the place (2,885 square feet for family fun), not to mention the pool and cabana, or the retro-allure of the “rumpus room.” Listing does not specify if awesome train bunk beds are included in the sale, but we suspect if you can afford $1,299,000, a similar set-up for your lucky little ones isn’t too much of a stretch. - Anna Marie
