A-Cup Race Demonstration

New, 2 comments

Imagine having the Blue Angels and Fleet Week non-stop for nine weeks? The Environmental Council, an umbrella group of thirty bay stakeholder organizations, has scheduled a rally this morning at 10AM in front of City Hall to protest perceived inadequacies in the America's Cup Race Draft EIR, before a scheduled noon meeting of the Planning Commission in room 400. Concerns include air pollution from diesel engines, too many spectators, helicopters, threatened turtles. If you go, feel free to send pictures to sf@curbed.com. [SF Appeal]
