SF Gate has put together a lovely photo gallery of the old California Academy of Sciences. In his latest Let's Go to the Morgue! series, Peter Harlaub pays tribute to the old Steinhart Aquarium, Morrison Planetarium and the rest of the Academy of Sciences. "I enjoy and appreciate the new California Academy of Sciences, but I also miss the old one, which seemed to have a lot more stuff. I can spend three and a half hours at the new Academy and feel like I've viewed all the important sights. After more than 30 years going to the old Academy, I still felt like there could be an unexplored wonder around any corner," Harlaub writes. [SF Gate/photo via Domo]
