It's On

A local group of small business owners have started a contest for "parking ticket stories" in order to raise awareness for how parking ticket policy affects small business. According to the Examiner, the group is also protesting a city law that prohibits businesses from advertising outside of their stores by promoting the contest. The group has a webpage under Chris Daly's favorite saying "It is on like Donkey Kong" -- careful with your typing, contracting the "it is" will lead you to what look like some awesome New Year's Eve plans. Strangely, the website doesn't talk about this advertising issue, but does offer a place to try to vent your frustrations over your glove box full of parking tickets. [SF Examiner]
