Bank-Owned and Nearly a Million Off For FiDi Condo

New, 13 comments
Was: $2,843,000
Then: $2,250,000
Now: $1,895,000
You Save: $948,000

Dearest readers, you called it: unit #2504 at the very swanky Montgomery Washington Tower has been hacked to pieces. Originally asking $2,943,000, it's now bank-owned and asking $1,985,000. Many of you questioned the high price for a 2-bed, 2.5-bath condo. FiDi or not, $1,226 per square foot leaves most people wondering what all the fuss is about. And then you see the images and there's brass in the bathroom and IKEA shelves in the kitchen. Pair that with the leased parking fee of $248 for 1-car parking and the jaw-dropping monthly HOA dues of $1,870 and this condo is a tough sell. Is this price finally manageable? Or should we keep an eye out for another reduction? Let us know in the comments.
