"I'm not sure if you considered everything." Oakland Mayor Quan is very angry at the decision by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Association of Bay Area Governments to decamp to 390 Main Street in San Francisco, a building they plan to purchase for $150M, joined by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. She's so angry that she's filed a Freedom of Information Act request to find out what's behind the decision to move from an inadequate building near the Lake Merritt BART station to more space across from the current transit center, three blocks to BART and within striking distance of lunch at the Ferry Building. In Oakland, it seems, there's always a smoking gun. [SF Appeal]
