Although technically approved yesterday by the Board of Supervisors, the San Francisco Municipal Railway's plan to wrap buses and trains from top to bottom in advertisements will need to scale back from putting wrap ads on 5 percent of the buses and 10 percent of its light rail vehicles to only 15 total vehicles, reports the SF Appeal. The agency was hoping to pull in as much as $500,000 annually, but that figure is not so realistic now. "We'll have to work harder to reach that amount," said Sonali Bose, the agency's Chief Financial Officer. "We're going to try?but it will be hard." The proposed wrap ads cover everything, including the windows. [SF Appeal/photo via Bhautik Joshi]
