Just when they got landscaped sidewalks, the residents of Lyon Street in NoPa want even more improvements. Scaffolding being used as temporary fire escapes will be coming down "within two to three weeks," further prettyfying the street. The eyesore will be gone and two parking spaces will be liberated, not to mention that people won't have to climb down scary scaffolding if their building is ablaze. A developer working for the property owner confirmed to BIKE NOPA that the one of the two new fire escapes will be installed within two to three weeks. [BIKE NOPA]
