People Behaving Badly

New, 1 comment

Several reports have come through that over the weekend someone spread unauthorized rat poison at Sutro Heights Park, reports the Richmond SF Blog. Several readers alerted the blog to the situation, as it's a hot spot for people with dogs. One reader said that a Parks volunteer told them that one of the park's hawk residents ingested the poison and had died, and they feared that a local coyote may also have been poisoned. Park visitors should keep their dogs on leash, and if possible, avoid the park altogether until the poison could be eradicated. At the time of posting a call to the Parks Department was not returned.
