National Geographic has released its list of the Top 10 U.S. Boardwalks. Did SF make the list? Of course not, because we don't have a boardwalk. But Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk did make the cut by coming in at #7. From National Geographic: "Created more than a hundred years ago as the West Coast answer to Coney Island, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is one of the last seaside amusement parks remaining in the U.S." The only other California boardwalk to make the list was Ocean Front Walk in Venice Beach, which came in at #5.
