Strike Averted

A Golden Gate Ferry strike was averted today, the SF Appeal reports. The Inlandboatman Union's contract expired at midnight on Thursday and the union released a statement indicating that the ticket agents would hold a one-day strike, according to transit officials. But all Golden Gate ferry and bus service will operate regular service today. Whew! [SF Appeal/photo via etthekid]
