The Upper Haight! Have the throngs of disgruntled teenagers stopped sitting and lying on the sidewalk? The SF Examiner reports that "police say the city's new sit-lie law appears to have had an effect on Haight Street despite the misgivings of some, although a small but steadfast group of drunken loiterers remain." In March police issued 24 warnings and 6 citations; in April 17 warnings, 26 citations, and 8 bookings and in May 8 warnings, 21 citations and 2 bookings. [SF Examiner/photo via Josh Sullivan]
