Hot Spots

Trulia, a real estate website, just launched Crime Map, which gathers data from the Police Department to show San Francisco's most dangerous spots. Eric Wu, head of geoproducts at Trulia, said home buyers spend weeks driving around potentially neighborhoods trying to figure out if they're safe, but Crime Map makes it easier to determine quickly. "People say SoMa is unsafe or the Tenderloin is unsafe, but there are huge differences by blocks in those neighborhoods," he said. According to Crime Map, the most dangerous intersection in SF is Sixth and Mission. [SF Gate]
