From the SF Appeal we learn that San Francisco police and city officials are launching a "Safe Summer in the Parks" initiative, which calls for more law enforcement presence in city parks during Summer. Police and Recreation and Park Department rangers will partner with Animal Care and Control officers and the Department of Public Health to bump up officers' presence in city parks. [SF Appeal]
