Separated bike lanes may be coming to Fell and Oak Streets for Wiggle Riders. Proposals would either eliminate a parking lane or a driving lane to create a physically separated bike lane for the hoards of bikers taking this route between the Lower Haight and the Panhandle. It could happen as soon as next year, but given that there will likely be protest from residents losing parking or drivers losing the ability to go 50 MPH, we are not holding our breath for this to happen soon.
