For the only time this year, the AC45 wing-sailed catamaran will sail in San Francisco at 1 p.m., organizers said Which means grab a sandwich and head to Crissy Field for lunch. The big, shiny and multi-hulled AC45s will be working through the race route this afternoon after a private shindig at the Golden Gate Yacht Club, and the long Crissy Field bayfront should prove perfect for viewing. The Golden Gate Bridge might not be so bad, either, but lacks picnic tables and does not permit beach chairs. [SF Appeal]
