Laundry to Landscape

Graywater irrigation is a process of recycling water from the not-entirely-disgusting areas of your home to your garden. Folks have been doing it (illegally) for years, and now San Francisco is pushing it into the mainstream. Officials at the SFPUC are encouraging residents to try their legal "laundry to landscape" pilot program. It offers hands-on workshops and an installation kit that costs about $15 with rebates and tax. [SF Examiner]
