Yesterday the Board of Supervisors approved - in a second and final vote- legislation that bans the delivery of Yellow Pages to anyone, unless they opt-in to receive them. The law will go into effect May 2012. The Yellow Pages industry has said they would sue San Francisco if approved. "This legislation reaffirms San Francisco's nationwide leadership on environmental policy," board president David Chiu said in a statement. [SF Examiner]
