We Want Your Nominations For SF's Worst Public Art

New, 35 comments

Dear readers, yesterday we alerted you to a proposal by the SF Arts Commission to have an approval process for any public art, even if it's funded by private developers. Now this got us thinking: what's the worst piece of public art in the city? We need your nominations for a new poll we're calling: "Menace to Society: Worst Public Art in SF." Guest #2 from yesterday has already gotten a head start with "the horrible Transbay Terminal sculpture" which we can only assume is this guy made out of the old terminal's wreckage. Which piece of s**t do you absolutely abhor? What cleverly designed masterpiece makes your blood boil and your ears steam? Please rant away in the comments, your rage is sweet sweet music to our ears.
