Did you know that bedbugs reproduce more quickly in warm weather than they do in cold? And that there's been a 44% increase in reported cases of bedbugs in the city over the past three years? The SF Appeal reports that a new study might stop the bedbugs from taking over everything we have ever known and loved. Researches in Sweden recently discovered that the smell of an alarmed adolescent bedbug acts as a natural repellent against other bedbugs. The smell helps exterminators get the bedbugs out into the open, where they can then do what they need to do to exterminate them. [SF Appeal]
