A 2-bed, 2-bath, 1,368-square-foot duplex penthouse at The Royal San Francisco has hit the market with an asking price of $1,495,000. As Curbed wrote back in 2006, the building is a "florid Edwardian-era interpretation of the Georgian," which translates to "it's very classy and decadent and probably very pleasing to come home to every day," if you're into lots of marble and brass. It was listed in 2007 for $1,575,000, and sold later that year for $1,250,000. Now it's back and asking $245,000 more. Building highlights include an "exquisite embellished lobby" and rooftop garden. Monthly HOA dues are $750.
