Mozilla is Coming

New, 5 comments

Mozilla, the developer behind the Firefox web browser, is opening its first San Francisco office in the upcoming months. The nonprofit is moving 125 staff members and volunteers into a 15,000-square-foot space at 2 Harrison in South Beach. The space at Hills Plaza, where Google Inc. already occupies several floors, will be specifically designed to accommodate volunteers and encourage collaboration, said Melissa Shapiro, a Mozilla spokeswoman. We wonder if Mozilla will have Gensler Architects design their space, as the company also has an office at 2 Harrison. [SF Gate]
