From March 28th to April 1st, Muni's Powell-Mason cable car line will shut down for four days due to repair work. The Municipal Transportation Agency will use buses to transport the 6,578 daily passengers who use the cable car line. The Powell-Hyde line will also be out of service because of repairs from April 25th to April 29th. Muni's cable car system has gone without a major improvement project since he mid 90s. [SF Examiner]
