Next week the Board of Supervisors' Budget and Finance Committee will debate the controversial admission fee charged to non-SF residents who visit the SF Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum, which is a public park. The Rec and Park Department started charging out-of-towners to visit the park, because the projected $250,000 a year in new revenue would cover the costs of three gardeners to maintain the grounds.
