The expected knock-down drag-out fight over Parkmerced development will continue into May, SF Gate reports. Plans to redevelop the site hit a snag when opponents claimed that rent control protections from the developer were not adequately explained in the environmental impact report. The Supes agreed and will take up the issue in closed session near the end of May. Parkmerced's owner, Stellar Management, seeks to build 7,200 units where 1,500 townhomes currently stand. [SF Gate]
