San Francisco is one step closer to being a leader in urban agriculture, the SF Examiner reports. "Urban agriculture" legislation sponsored by Mayor Ed Lee and Board of Supes President David Chiu would update zoning regulations to explicitly permit gardens in all areas of San Francisco. Yesterday the legislation was approved by the board's Land Use and Economic Development Committee. The full board will vote on the legislation on April 5th. [SF Examiner]
