Throwing The Terrorist Card

New, 9 comments

So the question is, what if there’s a massive fire, or a terrorist attack at that point, and there’s a lot of smoke and confusion? So asks Hiram Wong, a former MUNI employee hell-bent on redirecting the agency priorities. Mr. Wong is a member of SaveMUNI, which takes the position that the Central Subway from Caltrain's Fourth Street terminal to Chinatown is a major boondoggle and wants the $1.5B spent on surface transit. So Mr. Wong intends to scare you back into the bus. We're going to avoid any Roman Polanski puns and hope that by 2020 there will be subway down Geary to the ocean.
