Book Banning

New, 1 comment

On Monday the Board of Supervisors' Land Use and Economic Development Committee gave its support to legislation that would prohibit producers of Yellow Pages books to leave them in people's doorways without prior permission. Board of Supes President David Chiu, who authored the legislation, estimates that it costs $1 million annually to process the books through the waste system. The full board is going to discuss the legislation on March 29th. [SF Gate]
