Securing Funds

Governor Jerry Brown's plan to close redevelopment agencies has Santa Clara council members all shook up. So much so, that they'll hold an emergency meeting tomorrow night in an effort to protect funds needed to build the 49ers stadium. If Brown succeeds in closing the $26 billion budget gap, Santa Clara could lose a chunk of the up to $40 million it wants to use to build the $937 million football stadium. [NBC Bay Area]
