I would have said yes to that poll question says bar-keep and perennial kvetch Chris Daly, commenting on the misleading wording of a recent poll which indicated surprising support from the citizenry for payroll tax cuts for employers moving to Mid Market and creating new jobs. Apparently, 70% of respondents like the idea of Twitter at Tenth & Market. 78% aligned align two other issues: no to congestion pricing for downtown driving and yes to infrastructure improvement to encourage tourism and events like the America's Cup. Probably too early to count this as a death blow to progressive politics in San Francisco. More like a nibble. [SFGate, plus Mid-Market coverage on Curbed SF]
