At 2 AM, a window washer's cherry-picker rig collapsed onto the sidewalk in front of a building on Sutter Street between Kearny and Grant, KTVU broadcast is reporting. KTVU spoke with a city engineer who said the washer wasn't suppose to be using that type of style of "fork lift," because it's 25,000 pounds and too heavy to be supported by the sidewalk. No one was injured. [SF Appeal]
