Seeing Bottom

New, 4 comments

Unsurprisingly, home values in the Bay Area kept plummeting through the end of 2010, but on the birght side that could mean we're (finally) nearing rock bottom. According to the Chronicle, citing Zillow.com's quarterly report, this means the beginning of the end is upon us - although that feels like something we've been hearing every quarter. Zillow analysts expect "a long, flat bottom" and about three years or so before appreciation rates start to get back to normal, so you still have a little while to ponder that move to an ever-so-cheap home in Vallejo.
