California College of the Arts and Crafts continues its quest for domination growth by recently spending $8.4 million on the 2.5-acre former Greyhound maintenance yard on the Western edge of Mission Bay, reports the San Francisco Business Times. It's next to CCA's main SF building at 1111 Eighth Street. The school has increased enrollment by 75% over the last 15 years, said CCA Board Chair F. Noel Perry. CCA President Stephen Beal said there's "a number of ideas for temporary use of the lot" but that "development for long-term use is several years away."
