The House of Yes

The Richmond District Blog brings word that 1720 Anza, the little house that could, is being saved. "I predicted that the house would be a goner and replaced with a let's-take-up-the-whole-lot building that is the trend these days," reports Sarah B. It turns out the 1,000-square foot home is actually undergoing a very serious remodel. The SF Department of Building Inspection granted permits to remodel the bathroom, kitchen, upgrade the foundation, replace windows, install skylights, install a new furnace and lay down new flooring. No word yet on when the remodel will be completed. [Richmond SF Blog]
