Blame the Weather

Golden Gate Park's Polo Fields are undergoing a renovation. It's getting a new irrigation system, sod, and improved drainage. The fields were suppose to be ready by mid-March, but unfortunately the weather has slowed down the process by at lest two months. "The Polo Field's sod growth was slowed by record low temperatures and ice in November and similar weather patterns in January and February," the Recreation and Park department said in a statement.
