This arctic storm we're having is so bananas that it's forcing the animals to quit their usual routine of sunbathing and grazing so that they can stay dry. Yesterday the San Francisco Zoo, which usually stays open until 4p.m. on weekdays, closed early at 1p.m. because the storm had drenched the animals and they needed to seek shelter. The zoo will open at its regular time today, but no word yet on when it'll close. [SF Examiner]
