Sitters and liers need not disturb themselves just yet - the SFPD is delaying enforcement of the Sit/Lie ban for at least another few weeks. The law technically went into effect in December when election results were certified, but the police department has been busy trying to figure out how to deal with tricky logistical problems, like how to make sure that multiple warnings actually turn into citations. The police chief says he's in "no hurry," but does that mean he's sitting, or lying, down on the job? [SF Gate]
