The same folks who told us we're the most vain city in the United States has gone and ranked SF as the 11th best city for love. That's right, the Daily Beast "ranked the country's biggest cities according to the percentage of the population that's single to measure "date-ability"; the percentage of all married couples in the city who said "I Do" in 2009; and the number of divorces in 2009 compared to the married population." The site also looked at how happy city residents are according to the Gallup-Healthway Well-Being Index. Oh, and also at the amount of nightlife available to the over-21 set. So, which cities beat us out? Places like San Antonio and Milwaukee. Last year San Francisco was ranked #23. [SF Gate]
