NIMBYs, rejoice! Electric Tour Co., uses Segways to show folks around San Francisco hot spots. The company recently scored a lease with the city to provide tours in Golden Gate Park, and the map they use was approved by the Recreation and Park Commission. Unfortunately the map lets the Segways roam where bicyclists cannot, so Supervisor Eric Mar has decided that there needs to be an upcoming hearing about the impact the Segways cause. The hearing is scheduled for March 4th.
