It was only a matter of time, really. Three major tenants at Pier 27/29 have found new homes before the site is cleared for the new cruise terminal and America's Cup Village. The bus company, Bauer's Intelligent Transportation, will move to Pier 50, along with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce's New Year's floats. Teatro ZinZanni will move across the Embarcadero to the parking lot at the corner of Broadway- as long as no one up on Telegraph Hill objects and they can raise the $4M necessary to reconstruct their facility. Who knew they are a non-profit arts organization and not another Cirque de Soleil%3
San Francisco Soccer's Telegraph Field, tucked behind ZinZanni, will lose its home and has yet to find a replacement venue. And while there are probably are some options, it's very unlikely the the soccer non-profit will be able to relocate within walking distance of the Financial District. There's a field at the Mission Playground- otherwise it's out to the already heavily-used and hotly-contested facility behind the Beach Chalet.
