Matier and Ross bring word that San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee is fit to veto the Board of Supes measure today that would explore giving up management of Sharp Park in Pacifica to the National Park Service. The National Park Service would likely close the park's 18-hole golf course in an effort to bring the park back to its "natural state" and to protect the threatened California red-legged frog and the endangered San Francisco garter snake.
