I can’t think of another event, truthfully, since the ’39 World’s Fair that will be worldwide recognition for The City. So says Planning Commissioner Michael Antonini, as the Commission votes unanimously to approve the America's Cup EIR. Apparently some swift currents remain to be navigated, and there's always the possibility of an appeal- although no one has actually threatened one. Yet. [SF Examiner]
