Back in November, Curbed told you that Forever 21 had snapped up the lease for the 50,300-square-foot space that the Virgin Megastore used to be in on the corner of Stockton and Market. SFist brings word that today, the brand is putting up its signage (photo to the right courtesy of SFist). The chain is setting up shop for its spinoff brand, XXI Forever, which is geared towards a "slightly older demographic." Construction of the Central Subway had delayed the opening until now. The store is slated to open in early 2012. [SFist]
