Like we said in our original post, the entire property is a "slice of tranquility in a very popular neighborhood in a very busy city." The listing stated that for $489,000, you could have a "rare Eureka Valley Development Opportunity!" Shoot forward today and the property's been sold, and for under asking at $470,000. It's sale was pending a mere four days after it sold. We wish the buyer the best of luck with it, and we hope that the property doesn't change much. We'll produce a single tear if the cottage gets demolished to make room for a mega mansion.
