Time to bust out your obnoxious holiday sweaters: the holiday ice rinks opened today. The Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square held its opening ceremonies this morning and will be open daily from 10a.m. to 11:30p.m. The Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center also opened this morning, and will operate from 10a.m. to 10p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 10a.m. to 11:30p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
