Round of Applause

From the mailbox we learn that San Francisco's Neighborhood Empowerment Network has picked a strip of Divisadero as the "Comeback Neighborhood of the Year." "Improving Divisadero was at the top of my list when I first ran for Supervisor in 2004," Supervisor Ross Mirarimi said in a statement. "It was a forgotten neighborhood back then. Now it's a thriving City destination." Divisadero was the first city street to get a Parklet. Improved pedestrian experience and a heathy Farmer's Market also helped Divisadero nab the award.
