Less Than a Year Later and Double the Price For an Extensively Remodeled 742 Andover

New, 3 comments

742 Andover was bought in February of this year for $274,000. Before the ink was dry on the check, the owner gutted and extensively remodeled the entire 2-bed, 1-bath abode and backyard. Now it's back, and wants more than double the cash: $579,000, or $804 per square foot. The 720-square-foot pad has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a recently remodeled home: recessed lighting, Caesar Stone countertops and shiny stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, in unit laundry, etc. We should point the listing states the property is "near transportation and the fine restaurants, wine bars, cafes and shops located in the Cortland shopping district." What say you, dear readers? Will this abode find a buyer? After the jump, a shot of what the house looked like before it was remodeled.
