By way of the SF Appeal we learn that there's household furniture being set up at the intersection of Quesada Avenue and Keith Street in the Bayview to protest the pending eviction of at least three residents who have pending foreclosure or eviction cases, including a 75-year-old woman. The event is organized by the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment and Service Employees International Union. ACCE organizer Grave Martinez said putting the furniture in the middle of the street right before Thanksgiving "will bring the community together to celebrate a very American holiday, and realize a lot of home ownership is an American dream, but it's turned into an American nightmare."
