The Supervisors were back in session for the first time since the Nov 8 mayoral election, but everyone was very well behaved. The only major building project on the agenda was for Redevelopment Agency to lease the land at 474 Natoma Street to BRIDGE Housing for a 55-unit family affordable housing project started back in 2009 (though recent renderings have it decidedly less orange). Even with a drought on state and local funds for affordable housing projects, the developer is hoping to break ground in the next few months. The Board hopes so too, and the lease deal was approved unanimously.
